Avan­ti! is a 1972 roman­tic com­e­dy film direct­ed by Bil­ly Wilder, set on the pic­turesque Ital­ian island of Ischia, where a wealthy busi­ness­man (Jack Lem­mon) and an Eng­lish woman (Juli­et Mills) seek to retrieve with the help of the hotel’s man­ag­er (Clive Revill) the bod­ies of their respec­tive father and moth­er who died in a car acci­dent and end up falling in love.
