The man who has no imagination has no wings.

The Norge airship, led by Umberto Nobile, completed a successful expedition to the North Pole in 1926. The airship, designed and built by the Italian engineer, flew from the island of Spitsbergen, Norway and reached the North Pole on May 12, 1926. This was the first time an airship had reached the North Pole, and it was considered a major achievement in the field of polar exploration. The expedition was also notable for the participation of Roald Amundsen, a Norwegian explorer who had previously reached the South Pole. The Norge airship crashed on the return trip, but all of the crew members survived.
